Do I need an external microphone?

Whilst you can attach an external audio device via the microphone jack and take advantage of the ZV-E10’s digital interface, you can also use the high-quality integrated directional microphone that comes with an included windshield. For this, you can make use of the jack phone jack so you can monitor the audio you record.

Can I use the Animal autofocus in video recording?

The Animal autofocus is limited to stills. However, you can still make use of the Human left/right eye select AF.

Are there any in-camera effects?

You can use the ZV-E10 to stream to almost all platforms e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitch and Youtube. It’s easy to set up but simply connecting your camera to your computer's USB port - You don’t even need a capture card (UVC/UAC standard).
