Versatile Zoom Range
Tamron’s latest innovation comes in the form of this standard zoom lens with an impressively wide zoom range in a compact size. At the longest zoom end is a standard focal range of 40mm, which is ideal for capturing portraits, food, and on-the-fly moments. At the wide end, however, is an ultra-wide 20mm focal length that allows a range of imagery to be captured - from stunning landscape photography to unique street videography.
Stunning Image Quality
A fast f2.8 aperture lends itself to the versatile nature of the lens whilst also providing incredible image quality. It has an optical construction of 12 elements in 11 groups, comprising four low dispersion, two glass molded aspherical, and one hybrid aspherical lens elements. This strikes a balance between superb image quality and the compact size of the zoom range.
The speed of the aperture makes the zoom lens suited to travel, sport and wildlife photography or videography - making sure you never miss a moment at any range. As well as getting beautiful imagery, the f2.8 aperture also provides gorgeous soft blur effects and circular bokeh that enhances every frame.
Compact But Practical
Tamron prides itself on making this zoom lens compact and lightweight. It only weighs 365g and measures 86.5mm in length - ensuring the lens is easy to carry around and work with all day. While the lens is small, it still packs in useful features. The lens itself is scratch-resistant and moisture-resistant, and it has the same 67mm filter size as most other Tamron lenses.
It also has a VXD linear motor focus mechanism that provides high-speed, high-precision autofocus so you never miss a moment. The lens is compatible with many camera-specific features such as Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF. Incredibly the lens is also extremely quiet so any autofocusing won’t ruin your video or disturb quiet surroundings.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
