This includes an LD (Low Dispersion) lens element that is precisely arranged so that axial chromatic and other aberrations are suppressed; something that is often seen in telephoto lenses. As well as this, there's Tamron's BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating and thanks to the high-quality glass elements, you'll see edge-to-edge sharpness and rich-clarity at every stage of the focal range, even at its 300mm end.

The optical quality of this lens is stunning and this is further improved when used in conjunction with Sony's lens correction features! Speaking of Sony; this new lens is compatible with many advanced features, specific to your particular Sony mirrorless camera. This includes (and depending on your camera model) Fast Hybrid AF, Eye AF, Direct Manual Focus (DMF), In-camera lens correction (shading, chromatic aberration, distortion) and Camera-based lens unit firmware updates.
