What is the difference between the Air Case and the standard Spinner 21?
The Air Case includes a removable laptop protection board that slides into the laptop pocket. This board replaces a laptop and stiffens the structure, allowing the case to be checked for flights or shipped with greater confidence, while the standard version is focused purely on carry-on use.
Does the Air Case still meet carry-on size limits?
Yes. Despite the added protection board, the Roadie v2 Spinner 21 Air Case meets mostinternational carry-on regulations. As always, final acceptance depends on airline enforcement, but the dimensions are based on common global standards.
How much gear can it realistically hold?
The interior fits two to three mirrorless, DSLR or cine bodies, eight to ten lenses, including long zooms up to a 180–600mm class, plus accessories and a small lighting kit. A top zippered pocket fits a laptop up to 16 inches when the protection board is not in use.
Is the case protective enough to be checked on flights?
The rigid corrugated polypropylene frame is rated to withstand heavy pressure, supported by reinforced stress points and dense padding. When combined with the laptop protection board, the structure offers added rigidity for checked baggage or courier shipping.
Can it still be carried when wheels are not practical?
Yes. Like other Roadie Spinner cases, it is compatible with optional backpack straps that attach for carrying over sand, mud or uneven terrain. The straps are padded and fully removable, so they can be packed away once rolling becomes practical again.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
