The Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 features a 4K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and wide colour gamut support. With 99% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage, it delivers consistent colour for digital design, print and video. Pantone Validated and SkinTone Validated presets provide accurate colour spaces without manual calibration, ensuring reliable output for your final product.

HDR Gamma support extends tonal range, while over one billion colours reduce banding in gradients and skin tones. Uniform brightness and controlled contrast maintain consistency across the screen for detailed work such as retouching and grading. An anti-glare coating reduces reflections, maintaining clarity during extended use without diffusing fine detail.

Pen technology and input precision

The Wacom Pro Pen 3 introduces a modular physical design that allows adjustment of grip thickness, weight distribution, button configuration and centre of balance. By adapting the pen to individual preference, users achieve more consistent line control across different drawing styles without introducing fatigue.

Battery-free EMR technology ensures constant responsiveness without charging. The pen detects pressure, tilt and stroke speed, translating input into controlled changes in line weight, opacity and texture for predictable results. Pixel-precise alignment removes parallax, while anti-jitter processing and low latency produce smooth, uninterrupted strokes, even at high magnification.

Surface and drawing feel

The textured glass surface introduces controlled friction between the pen and the screen, slightly increasing resistance to stabilise movement and improve stroke accuracy. The surface produces a drawing feel closer to traditional media, particularly for line work and shading. The texture is balanced to minimise nib wear while maintaining tactile feedback, allowing consistent control with less pressure and reduced strain over longer sessions.

Multi-touch and control interface

The Cintiq Pro 27’s multi-touch layer supports gesture-based navigation, including panning, zooming and rotation, alongside pen input. This method allows direct canvas control without switching tools, reducing interruption during drawing. The updated driver enables configurable pen gestures and on-screen shortcuts for faster access to key functions, reducing reliance on external devices.

ExpressKeys are repositioned to the rear grip to keep the drawing area clear while maintaining access to customisable shortcuts.

Design, mounting and workspace integration

The Cintiq Pro 27 uses a slim bezel design to reduce footprint while maintaining a large active area, allowing it to fit more easily into compact workspaces and support freer hand movement. The display requires either the separately available dedicated stand or a VESA 100 monitor arm. The Wacom stand enables height, angle and up to 20 degrees of rotation in each direction, supporting more natural positioning and reduced fatigue. Integrated mounting points allow attachment of accessories such as extension tables, cameras or lighting, supporting a fully customised workspace.

Performance and system integration

Anti-jitter processing filters unintended micro-movements to produce cleaner strokes, while low latency ensures pen input appears on screen with minimal delay for direct, responsive control.

Support for Linux and plug-and-play compatibility enables integration across modern systems, maintaining consistent performance in both local and virtualised environments.
