The Pro Interface Options

The Pro version of the YoloLiv Yolobox expands on the already vast options that are available on the standard version. Interface-wise, you have 3 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output. Unlike the standard version, you have both Headphone/Microphone Stereo and Mono Analog inputs and a Headphone/Microphone Stereo output. There’s both a USB Type-A USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB Type-C USB 3.1 Gen 1 Input/Output, a RJ45 10/100 Ethernet Input/Output and 2-Channel embedded audio.

But even with these new interface features, it’s still seamless and easy process connecting the unit to the internet. You have the option of utilising the integrated RJ45 Ethernet port, Wi-Fi signal, or mobile data connection with an additional SIM card (not included). When you are streaming via a 4G network, it is best to use the included dongle (cellular modem) to gain the most reliable, secure connection. The last input can be from a relevant web source, a great way to mix up your content whilst adding increased production value to your live stream. Using multiple camera angles and positions is a great way to promote a more dynamic viewing experience.

Effortless Streaming Control

The large 8” touchscreen interface allows easy streaming via user-friendly controls. The YoloBox works efficiently as a switcher, with a variety of picture-in-picture templates along with graphic layers that can be added to the frame. It also has a built-in encoder for live streaming and can record your stream onto separate SD cards.

The Pro version offers a larger internal battery that will power your device for almost double the standard 3 hours of battery life, as well as offering charging via USB connection. This USB charging slot is separate from the USB input, meaning that it does not affect the number of video inputs when streaming.

Output And Streaming Potential

When streaming, the YoloBox first outputs your feed to the YoloLIV platform, where it automatically forwards your feed to a maximum of three destinations simultaneously. All of the major streaming platforms are supported to include Facebook Live, Youtube, and Twitch, as well as YoloLIV. Youtube live streams can be done by accessing custom RTMP settings, whilst the included dongle allows for 4G Cellular connection. The dongle, or cellular modem, is compatible with Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T.
