The Zhiyun Crane 4 is a powerful yet portable gimbal with several upgrades on previous Crane models. With a longer arm, more robust motors, and an extended quick-release plate, the Crane 4 is compatible with full-frame DSLR and compact cine cameras. You can remove the guesswork from stabilising your rig, as the gimbal has balance indicator lights that accurately let you know when your setup is balanced. Alongside stabilised footage, the Crane 4 will deliver quality lighting in a portable form, providing you with everything you need for incredible results. The built-in 10W fill light has a max illuminance of 3200 Lux, a temperature range of 2700K-5500K, and a colour rendering index of +95.

The gimbal is tailor-made for cinematic sequences, shown by its impressive features and compatibility with a wide range of separately available professional accessories that support remote and collaborative work environments. Finally, it has dual-follow focus ports to get accurate focusing in external dual servo focus controllers. These can be used with the TransMount Image Transmission system to focus and zoom while you monitor your work. To support all these features, the Crane 4 has four 18650 batteries with a 12-hour run time so that you can shoot all day without fear. When your battery does run low, it will reach a full charge after a minimum of 1 hour and 50 minutes, thanks to PD fast charging. With the Crane 4, you can also charge while you shoot and avoid any interruptions to your workflow.

Ergonomic Sling Mode

Despite being loaded with features, the Zhiyun Crane 4 remains a lightweight, portable gimbal with an ergonomic, energy-saving design optimised for extended use. The increased payload and more durable build have little influence on the gimbal's weight, as Zihyun has crafted a relatively lightweight tool to achieve the best possible handling. With the adjustable sling mode, you can get more precise control of the gimbal to achieve your desired shot. The Crane 4 Combo includes a sling grip and wrist rest with a smooth texture to increase comfort, prevent shooting fatigue, and adjust your shooting angle more accurately. The extendable sling grip can be attached to the axis to allow straightforward switching between sling and two-handed shooting modes to suit your preference. It includes a 1/4-inch screw hole for compatibility with accessories to increase your options for setting up your shot or scene. Another clever design element is the silicone protective sleeve that covers the axis arms to ensure long-term use and reduce wear and tear. It also comes with a magnetic tightening wrench for use during shoots. With a range of features you can fine-tune to suit your needs and maintain productivity, the Zhiyun Crane 4 Combo is carefully designed with its users in mind.

Built For Versatility

With flexible connectivity options and access to various modes and functions, the Zhiyun Crane 4 can be used to streamline your workflow. The gimbal is compatible with multiple devices, from smartphones to small cinema cameras, delivering stunning results regardless of your chosen shooting method. It can be connected to your camera or device using rapid Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity or with the included cables. Using Bluetooth, you can control your camera’s shutter to start/stop recordings or take photos, encouraging smooth operation while in the gimbal. With the unique, extended quick-release module, you can switch between portrait and landscape orientations quickly and securely using the horizontal and vertical lock structure. There is also customisation available via the trigger button and front dial on the Crane 4 to adjust parameters such as ISO, shutter and aperture, focus motor, and gimbal mode right. If those do not provide enough control, you can access features like motion timelapse from the 1.22-inch colour touchscreen for increased creative options.
