FAQs
How much output does the Molus X200 deliver?
At 5500K, the light produces up to 8900 lux at 1 metre in bare form. With the included lens reflector fitted, output increases significantly, giving you more reach or allowing you to work through diffusion. This makes it suitable for key lighting, interviews and small set work.
Is the Molus X200 bi-colour or full RGB?
This version of the X200 is a bi-colour light, covering a range from 2700K to 6500K. This allows you to match daylight, tungsten and mixed lighting conditions accurately, but it does not offer RGB colour effects.
What power options are available?
You can run the light from mains power using the supplied AC cable, from USB-C PD, or from a V-mount battery using the included adapter. The V-mount option doubles as a rear grip, which helps keep the setup compact when working handheld or in tight spaces.
Is the fan noise suitable for video and dialogue work?
The back-pressure cooling system is designed to stay quiet during operation. In most interview and vlog-style setups, fan noise remains unobtrusive and does not interfere with on-camera audio.
How is the light controlled?
Brightness and colour temperature can be adjusted directly on the rear panel using the two rotary controls and display. Bluetooth control through the Zhiyun app also allows wireless adjustment and grouping when working with multiple lights.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
