This high-resolution sensor is backside illuminated, enhancing low-light performance and image quality. It also provides an impressive 16 stops of dynamic range, capturing a broad spectrum of light and shadow for stunning, detailed shots.

The C400 can oversample from 6K footage, meaning that the camera captures a larger 6K image to be scaled down to a smaller 4K or 2K resolution. The camcorder offers exceptional recording capabilities, including 12-bit Cinema RAW Light in LT, ST, and HQ modes, supporting resolutions up to 6K at 60fps and 4K at 120fps. The EOS C400 supports live production via G-Lock, Sync, and RET features.
