Additionally, this pro-level lens increases the field of view by 43%, enabling you to capture wide-field images of galaxies, nebulas, and clusters.

Glass Element

Manufactured from rare-earth lanthanum glass, this unique lens provides clear, contrasting, and high-resolution images, while reducing chromatic aberration. With multiple coatings on the elements, this powerful lens facilitates maximum light transmission, allowing you to take brighter images. Minimising the internal refraction and improving contrast are blackened edges around all elements.

Unique Frame Design

The Celestron Reducer Lens has a 60 mm diameter optimised for a 42 mm image circle so that you can use it with large CCD sensors. In addition to this, the lightweight reducer lens has threads that fit directly to a 3.25” (8.25 cm) EdgeHD telescope’s threading that minimises vignetting and allows use with full-frame sensors and off-axis guiders. For precise alignment with the optical elements is the Celestron lens’ computer assisted CNC-machined aluminium housing.
