Expanded DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2) Key Features:
Despite its compact and foldable design, the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2) has two powerful primary cameras featuring 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors. These cameras feature a 24mm f1.4 wide-angle and a 70mm f2.8 3x medium telephoto lens, inviting more dynamic aerial shooting possibilities. The wide-angle camera with an 84-degree Field of View (FOV) captures stunning landscapes, while the medium-telephoto camera’s 3x optical zoom creates spacial compression around your subject for stand-out results. With 48-megapixel capabilities, the dual cameras take life-like, highly detailed photos with seamless cropping, support Hyperlapse and Panorama, and include four photo modes: Single Shot, Burst Shooting, AEB (Auto Exposure Bracketing), and Timed Shooting. In single-shot mode, the Air 3 can use SmartPhoto 3.0 to choose between shot, Hyperlight, and scene recognition for optimal imaging results.
The DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2) delivers footage that captures every beautiful detail from the skies. Both cameras support dual native ISO for an outstanding direct output of 4K/60fps HDR video without cropping. The Air 3’s night mode features a noise reduction algorithm that shoots up to 4K/30fps for clear, colour-accurate, and vibrant footage, even in low light. Both cameras support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG colour modes for maximum colour depth, retaining highlights and shadows for more flexible edits, and an increased dynamic range for breathtaking results without colour grading. If you want more time to enjoy the clarity of your subject, the cameras shoot 4x slow-motion video at 4K/100fps and 1080p at 100/200fps. They also offer 2.7K vertical shooting to share your creations on social media, making it perfect for hobbyists, vloggers, content creators, and commercial use.
Users can access intelligent features for more advanced flight controls with the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2) for the first time in the air series. With Waypoint, you can plan flight routes and shooting actions, eliminating the need to navigate difficult paths manually. Save these flight paths for later use to create exciting transitions by filming the same area several times. Cruise Control will lock the selected flight speed for a smoother effect while shooting, and you can make speed adjustments if necessary. FocusTrack will ensure your subject is always the centre of attention, with the tele camera providing a unique look to your shot. Modes include Spotlight 2.0, ActiveTrack 5.0, and Point of Interest 3.0 for dynamic tracking to suit your needs. The drone also features Quick Transfer, which allows you to download photos and videos from your drone to your smartphone via Wi-Fi. Whether an entry-level or advanced drone user, the Air 3 offers intuitive, easy-to-use features to inspire your next flight.
Maximum Impact, Minimum Effort
Regardless of your skillset, the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2) has various creative options to get you started. QuickShot provides compelling camera movements such as Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Boomerang, and Asteroid for lively footage. Hyperlapse includes Free Circle, Course Lock, and Waypoint options to capture timelapse footage horizontally or vertically. A reduced waiting time for image synthesis in the air provides smoother drone operation. For increased support with your final result, MasterShots will shoot clips, edit them, and add music for you. With the LightCut App, you can connect the Air 3 to your smartphone and access One-Tap Edit and special effects with a single tap.
More Flight Safety
Achieving safe, seamless flights is straightforward with the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2). The upgraded intelligent flight battery supports a 46-minute flight time, a 48% increase from its predecessor, offering ample time for creatively productive flights. The Fly More Combo has everything you need for extended use, including extra propellers, intelligent flight batteries, and the DJI Air 3 Battery Charging Hub. Thanks to the DJI Air 3 Battery Charging Hub, which can fast charge three batteries and transfer power to the battery with the most energy left, you can enjoy flying longer even when no charger is available.
Omnidirectional obstacle sensing allows the aircraft to detect objects in every direction, using APAS (Advanced Pilot Assitance System) 5.0 to navigate obstacles smoothly and safely. The updated O4 Video Transmission system–compatible with the included DJI RC 2 remote controller–provides an impressive max range of 20km with incredible stability thanks to anti-interference capabilities and enables a 1080p/60fps live feed for a seamless performance. The included DJI RC 2 has a built-in 5.5-inch FHD screen and a powerful processor and is compatible with the new O4 video transmission system for optimal performance. With this remote controller, you get a live video feed from your drone. If transmission becomes disconnected, the Air 3 can use Advanced RTH to plan a route home while sensing obstacles for a safe return. The DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2) includes a shoulder bag for your drone for increased safety and protection during transport and storage.
Know the rules!
From November 2019, the minimum weight requirement to register a drone with the CAA is 250 grams. This means that technically, the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (RC 2) cannot be flown without registration. Qualifications are needed for commercial drone use, and even then, this doesn't mean you can fly your drone anywhere. Make sure you know the rules and consult the Drone Code before you fly, and if you want to fly commercially, you need to take the PfCO CAA exam (Permission for Commercial Operations).
