Made for harsh weather conditions

This is a drone that can handle harsh weather conditions. It makes stable HD and long-range data transmissions with O3 Enterprise transmission and intuitive flight control with the included DJI RC Plus Controller. A host of enhanced flight safety features have been built to ensure the drone continues operating in the long term.

Support for multiple payloads

With an open E-Port interface, the Matrice 350 RTK can support up to three payloads simultaneously. You can choose from single or dual downward gimbals or a single upward gimbal (not included). Choose from a wide range of DJI Zenmuse or gimbal cameras from other brands.

Long distances and extreme weather

The DJI Matrice 350 RTK is designed for demanding professional use in harsh environments. With O3 Enterprise, transmission uses a four-antenna system for control and live data feeds up to 20km away. The motor can reach horizontal speeds of up to 23m/s. The drone’s frame can withstand altitudes of up to 5000m, wind speeds of up to 12m/s, and temperatures from -20 to 50°C.

DJI O3 Enterprise transmission

A four-antenna system on both the Matrice 350 RTK and RC Plus is used for long-distance control and data transmission and to minimize interference. The RC Plus intelligently selects the two best antennas for transmission, while all four antennas on the drone receive signals simultaneously. Once in flight, this system delivers up to 3-channel 1080p live feeds and a maximum range of 20km.

RC Plus Controller

The Matrice 350 RTK comes with an RC Plus Controller with a 7" bright color display of 1200 nits. It runs DJI Pilot 2 to display flight information and provides control over both the drone and the optional payload. For maximum flexibility and intuitive use, the controller has customizable front, back, and top buttons. If special controls for the gimbal and drone are required, the remote supports dual operators.

The RC Plus is almost as rugged as the Matrice 350 RTK and is IP54 rated for significant dust and water resistance in harsh environments. The missions you perform with the RC Plus can be very sensitive. That’s why DJI offers multiple data protection methods, such as media data encryption, AES-256 video transmission encryption, a local data mode, one tap to erase all device data, and Cloud API support.

Improved flight safety

• Arm Lock Indicator: The arm lock detection alerts you on the controller display if any of the arms are unlocked, preventing you from taking off until they are all in the locked position.
• Night Vision FPV Camera: With the PinPoint function, the night vision camera can clearly display surrounding objects on the controller.
• Six-direction detection and positioning: The Matrice 350 RTK can sense objects in virtually any direction and automatically avoid them, thanks to a six-direction binocular vision system and an infrared detection system.
• Multi-layer redundancy design: Redundant components in both the aircraft and sensor systems allow flights to continue and avoid objects if certain components fail in harsh operational environments.

Mission capabilities

With various combinations of payloads and DJI software, the Matrice 350 RTK can perform a wide range of mission types. Some highlights of this are:

• Highly Accurate Maps: With a compatible payload camera and software, the Matrice 350 RTK can work with DJI Terra to generate HD 2D and 3D maps. In addition to mapping, it can also perform waypoint, oblique and linear flight missions.
• Air-ground coordination: Using PinPoint, FlightHub 2, and the right payload, the drone can connect air, ground, and cloud. For example, data can be sent directly to flight and ground operators upon mission completion and streamed live in real time.
• Automated Precision Inspection: With the right payload camera and AI Spot-Check, the Matrice 350 RTK can eliminate the time-consuming complexity of industrial inspections. Multiple flight paths can be saved and repeated, and subjects can be automatically framed with the option of manual adjustment.

Customize with Software Development kits

Three different SDKs allow you to tailor the capabilities of the Matrice 350 RTK to your own needs. The drone supports a wide range of third-party devices and applications. Integrate a variety of payloads, such as gas detectors, speakers, multispectral sensors, and more. Payload SDK supports E-Port, SkyPort V2, and DJI X-Port, shortening the payload development cycle and maximizing the potential of your payloads. Mobile SDK supports highly customizable mobile app development, allowing you to use a wide range of third-party apps to unlock the drone's potential. Connect to Cloud API to connect the Matrice 350 RTK directly to third-party cloud platforms using the DJI Pilot 2 app, giving you access to features such as data transfer, live streaming and flight route distribution.

Rules and compatibility

Flying a drone is great, but keep in mind that it is subject to rules and laws. For example, it is prohibited to fly within a radius of three kilometers from an airport, above built-up areas, railway lines, roads, ports, and crowds, and outside VLOS (Visual Line of Sight). Most drone manufacturers have the necessary tips regarding flying on their website. For the legal provisions you can visit the government website. Read carefully before you fly to avoid any discomfort. Not only for yourself, but also for those around you.

Many drones can (also) be operated with your smartphone or tablet. The compatibility between the app and your smart device depends on the version of the operating system your smart device is running. Know The Rules!

The UK’s drone rules are based on the risk of the flight – where you fly, the proximity to other people, and the size and weight of your drone. Any drone with a camera will require an Operator ID, regardless of weight. However, an additional Flyer ID is required for drones of 250g and over.

Other qualifications are still needed for commercial drone use, and even then, this doesn't mean you can fly your drone anywhere. Ensure you know the rules and consult the Drone Code before you fly; if you want to fly commercially, you must take the PfCO CAA exam (Permission for Commercial Operations).
