Course info

The syllabus is split over 5 days covering theoretical aspects & examination in the ground school followed by flight training & flight skills assessments on site.

The 2-day ground school will be conducted in an approved classroom and include invigilated examination, flight training will take place at an approved flight test site on days 3-4 and flight skills assessments will take place from day 4 and end on day 5.

We are also able to deliver night flying training on days 3 and 4 as requested and at an additional cost. We propose that these days are structured around sunset to provide 4-5 hours of day flying prior to, and 4-5 hours night flying post sunset.

There are no specific prerequisites for our course, however, students are provided with preparation for the ground school by completing an e-learning course. This takes approximately 8 hours to complete and will give the students valuable insight into the course and allow for a more productive learning environment come the start of instructor led training.

Ground School consists of all the regulatory and aviation knowledge needed to safely fly in UK National Airspace. This is a CAA approved course and culminates in an exam covering all topics in the phase. Successful completion of the course results in the operator receiving their GVC and A2 CofC.
