Meticulous Construction As per any Leica lens, there is a huge level of detail and consideration that's pooled into lens optic construction and ways in which the intricate structure is then able to capture the incredible image quality that is expected from Leica equipment. The Leica 50mm f1.4 Summilux-M Asph Lens is equipped with a sophisticated array of 8 glass elements that are placed in 5 groups. This includes the use of one Aspherical and one floating glass element, as well as the addition of anomalous partial dispersion glass and high refractive index glass. Together, these elements have a lasting effect, effectively controlling distortions, spherical and chromatic aberrations throughout the aperture/focusing range. In addition, the floating element placed at the rear of the lens is used to maintain consistent performance throughout the focusing range, even at the minimum 70cm focusing distance. Leica Performance An advanced lens construction is one thing, but to wear the Leica logo, a lens needs to exhibit the professional performance and usability seen across the brand. This lens is afforded a wide, bright, fast and versatile aperture range from f1.4 to f16. This range provides three main benefits. The wide f1.4 aperture allows you the freedom to shoot in low light conditions. The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
