The large 5.5-inch high definition, full-colour touchscreen benefits from haptic feedback to ensure your selections are accurate and accidental presses are minimised. With an unparalleled set of features, the Rodecaster Pro II is designed to make anyone sound exceptional every time they hit record. This all-in-one audio production device boasts ultra-low-noise preamps with a level of just -131.5dBV and a whopping 76dB of gain - eliminating the need for any external microphone boosters, lifters or external processing (even with the most demanding dynamic mics). Combined with the four studio-grade Neutrik combo inputs, the Rodecaster Pro II delivers astonishing clarity and transparency with any microphone or instrument.

Users can also craft their own unique sounds with a full suite of studio-quality APHEX processors, including the Aural Exciter for adding sheen and sparkle, Big Bottom for adding richness and depth, and the popular Compellor master compressor/leveller for adding that all-important final touch. The Rodecaster Pro II also supports a de-esser, noise gate, high-pass filter and equaliser powered by APHEX and includes a high-performance quad-core audio engine that delivers significantly more processing power than other competing content creation consoles on the market.

Rode knows that every podcast, every stream and every studio is different. With that in mind, they designed the Rodecaster Pro II to be able to adapt to any creative vision. In providing a whole host of customisable options, the Rodecaster Pro II helps users achieve their perfect setup to suit whatever kind of content they’re creating.

Featuring nine individually assignable channels, with six broadcast-quality physical faders and three virtual faders, the Rodecaster Pro II also supports users in designing their own ideal mixer configurations. But, the customisation doesn’t stop there. The eight SMART pads can be programmed to do everything from triggering voice effects like reverb, echo, robot and pitch FX, sending MIDI commands to external software and hardware, activating automated mixer actions like fade-ins and fade-outs, and more.

Rode also includes bank switching buttons with access to eight banks and a total of 64 unique actions. All the onboard effects and APHEX processors are also fully customisable, with granular on-board editing allowing users to fine-tune every last parameter to suit their voice or instrument.

Plethora of Presets

The Rodecaster Pro II comes preloaded with a plethora of presets and the intuitive VoxLab processing editor to make capturing professional-quality sound effortless. You can also make your own presets to easily recall everything from your preferred settings and mixer configurations to entire recordings. Custom presets are saved onboard as a ‘Show’ and are particularly ideal for creators making a variety of content, multi-functional studios and even production or education facilities that need to quickly and easily recall different setups for different users.

Remote Communication Made Simple

With built-in Rode CallMe integration, the Rodecaster Pro II can connect directly to remote guests using ultra-low latency audio over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. This professional-grade system supports Rodecaster-to-Rodecaster calls and web browser connections, allowing guests to join with a single link. Calls are routed to a fader, benefit from APHEX processing, and maintain full broadcast quality without the limitations of standard VoIP. CallMe is available in three subscription levels: CallMe Lite with 10 total hours of audio calls and a 5-hour web call trial, CallMe with unlimited audio and web calls, and CallMe Pro with advanced SIP calling, broadcast tools, and third-party interoperability.

Unrivalled Connectivity

As the ideal audio control centre for a multitude of creators, the Rodecaster Pro II prioritises flexible connectivity to ensure more creative possibilities, more streamlined workflows, and easier integration with other equipment. The four Neutrik combo inputs allow mic, line and instrument level devices to be connected for recording everything from a single microphone for streaming to a multitracked Livestream with vocals, keys and guitar. There are also four high-power headphone outputs and 1/4-inch balanced line outputs for connecting speakers.

The Rodecaster Pro II also benefits from advanced Bluetooth connectivity with wide-band speech that can be used for phone call integration, crisp and clear audio streaming, wireless monitoring and more. To further expand the Rodecaster Pro II’s capabilities, the dual USB-C interfaces also allow two computer or mobile devices to be connected simultaneously, unlocking huge potential for everything from remote podcasting to organising complex streaming setups.
