Cinema lens

The Samyang 135mm T2.2 Mark II VDSLR has a manual focus and has been specially developed for videography. The lens has an infinitely variable aperture value adjustment in which the aperture ring and focus ring of the lens are equipped with a toothed ring to use follow focus systems. This allows for a soft and smooth-running adjustment of the focus.

Construction of the Samyang 135mm T2.2 Mark II

The 135mm T2.2 Mark II VDSLR lens is made up of 11 elements that are placed in 7 groups. The hybrid aspherical lenses provide sharply defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focusing distance of 80 centimetres from the front of the lens.

Ultra Multi-Coated Lenses

The lenses have a UMC coating that minimises flare and ghosting. The lens is colour-matched to the other VDSLR lenses from Samyang, so you can easily switch between lenses during your recordings.

Maximum aperture of T2.2

The lens has a maximum aperture of T2.2, which provides the ability to shoot in low light or create an extremely shallow depth of field.

Removable lens hood

A removable lens hood provides protection against flare when shooting without a matte box. The lens has a thread on the front for 77mm filters.
