It also features an Audio Interface mode, which allows you to route inputs to any streaming software or DAW, even when you record to an SD card. Moreover, you can also route the audio from your PC into the Zoom L-20 LiveTrak to be mixed with your live performance. Could I use this unit as an interface for recording in ProTools on my PC?

You can plug the Zoom L-20 LiveTrak directly into a MAC or a PC from the front interface and assign mixer tracks to your digital audio workstation (DAW). You can also use the SD card to record directly and then put those files in ProTools or any other DAW.

Is the Zoom L-20 suitable for FOH engineers?

The Zoom L-20 LiveTrak Digital Mixer and Recorder is equipped with a dedicated seventh output for the FOH (front of house) engineer. It allows sound engineers to monitor the main mix and any of the sub-mixes, thus adjusting them to the artists’ satisfaction.
