We Love Photography Too!
At Wex Photo Video we're always focused on photography... in all areas of the business we've managed to attract employees who share our passion:

I received my first digital camera (PowerShot A80) for a birthday present almost 10 years ago now, and currently use a Panasonic LX5, and FT2 with an Ikelite case. I've never considered myself arty, but when I get the time I like taking photos of things that look nice (to me at least). I'm currently in the market for a DSLR + u/w housing to accompany me on my travels, if anyone's got one spare?

I have had an interest in photography since college and since working at Wex my enthusiasm has grown a lot more! I like to take photos of pretty much anything when I get the chance; my dog Daisy is always a good subject. I currently use a Canon 400D with a 50mm 1.8 lens.
Photographic interests: Portraits

I came to photography and video from a background in art and design. I have always been interested in illustration and image making in all its forms. I capture on whatever is to hand, phone, compact or DSLR. Digital photography has opened up the chance for myself and others, of all skill levels, to create, manipulate and share their works in a way that has never been possible before. This is what excites and inspires me.

I became interested in photography from quite a young age, like most people starting off with various different compacts. A couple of years ago when I wanted to explore the realms of possibility more I purchased an entry level Nikon DSLR – have not looked back since. Not really looked forward either due to financial constraints but there is a long wish list of equipment building up.

I'm happy photographing anything that takes my interest, though I guess most of my pictures are of people. My first camera was a Polaroid, received for my 9th or 10th birthday. Since then I've owned various film and digital cameras, and I currently use Pentax DSLRs. I can occasionally be found photographing weddings and theatrical productions.

Photography and travel are my passions in life, and combining the two is how I like to spend my weekends. My interest in photography began whilst I was studing art for my GCSE's and I later went on to devleop my skills further at college and sixth form. I currently shoot with a Canon 6D and a handful of primes.

My interest in photography began when I first joined the Wex team back in Feb 2008. Whenever I have time, I like to take pictures of absolutely anything that seems remotely interesting to me. I use a Nikon D3100 DSLR which I purchased earlier this year.

I have always been interested in Photography, from using my dads Pentax MG, through to my own completely manual K1000, and then entering the Auto market with a Nikon f90x before finally upgrading to digital and a Nikon D70. I have had 14 years experience in photographic retail in various positions so have a good photographic knowledge but each day is a constant learning curve.

I was given a camera by my dad at 7 or 8 and I got right into it. At around 10 I won some local competitions for youths and had my photographs exhibited by the PAGB in Koblenz Cathedral. Move on a few years and i had my first exhibition on my own, in the Norwich Maddermarket Theatre, followed a year later by the Norwich Assembly Rooms, I have also been a regular contributor to the Art of Norwich project in St Margerets church,Norwich, in late 2015 i won the FANN(Festival of Architecture in Norwich and Norfolk) 1st Prize for contempory architecture photography.
I dont see photography as my job but more as a serious hobby which occasionally pays a wage. I shoot mainly with either Nikon or Olympus digital camera's and dabble in film formats, mainly 120,35mm and 8mm movie film.

Coming quite late to Photography from a Musical background, I've discovered a love for the creativity and technical geekery of the artform. Primarily self-taught over the last few years, I tend to focus on Nature and Macro Photography both in the field and the studio. With a Nikon D7000, Tokina 11-16mm, Nikon 70-200mm F4 VR and selection of fast primes in tow, I'm always looking to understand more.

I've been interested in photography since my college days, many moons ago! Currently I use Canon DSLR's and own too many film cameras to mention here including 35mm and 120 formats. I like to experiment with all types of photography from landscapes to light painting just to broaden my knowledge for my own interest and then pass that knowledge onto customers. I enjoy macro and abstract photography especially.

I was always into photography ever since I can remember and I photographed my first wedding aged 8 (Yes, seriously!). When I left school I went to college and learned photography the old fashioned way; film, chemicals and a darkroom when I did my BTEC National Diploma in Photography and Design. Honing my skills over the last 23 years, I am now a successful wedding, portrait and commercial photographer but I love to keep my hand in with technology by working at WEX on a part-time basis.
Photographic interests: In my spare time I enjoy landscape photography, I love using filters, grads and polarisers etc to enhance what’s already there, for this I use Lee and Hitech filters.

I am more of a casual spare-of-the-moment photographer, so my camera of choice is the one I always have with me; my phone. I love travelling so I always ensure I take plenty of photo memories, and snowboarding is a particular favourite, though my camera would mostly be in video mode on the piste! Any interesting shapes that I spot sometimes make their way into my camera lens too.
