The Godox QT400II-M Studio Flash Head is a daylight-balanced flash source, built for high-speed flashes. It features the Godox 2.4 GHz wireless X system for wireless control and high-speed flashes. It can be used well for advertisements, weddings, fashion, portraits, and high-speed photography. Multiple flash modes enable wide performance options and have a simple back panel for high functionality.

Wireless X System
The QT400II-M flash head features the Godox 2.4 Hz wireless X system to enable creative shooting options. An optional XT16, FT16, XT32, or X1 trigger can be used to control the light functions wirelessly. The system receiver enables remote flash firing, selection of HSS, modelling light modes, high-speed modes, and flash energy control up to a distance of 50 metres. A 3.5 mm jack socket can also be used to connect the lamp with a trigger. The S1 and S2 slave triggering modes make it easy to work with cameras that employ pre-flash. This system controls multiple flashes with 16 groups and 32 channels.
Several Flash Modes
The flash head offers multiple flash modes. The Stable Colour Temperature Mode maintains a constant colour temperature of 5600 K with a fluctuation range of 200 K. This mode is used ideally for standard photography. The High-speed Flash Mode favours short durations and changes the colour temperature from 5400 K to 9000 K, which is ideally used for capturing fast-moving action. The High-speed Sync Flash Mode is suitable for clearly freezing a fleeting moment by allowing you to shoot at sync speeds as short as 1/8000 s for wide aperture use. It changes the colour temperature from 4600 K to 5000 K.
Multi-Freeze Performance
This high-speed studio flash head has an extremely fast recycling time of 0.05-0.7 s and an ultra-short flash duration of 1/28984 s. It offers a variable output from 1/128 to full power and consists of a 150 W modelling lamp. It offers up to 10 continuous flashes per second for multi-freeze performance and capturing all the fast-action moments.
Easy Operation
The clear LCD panel displays all the flash functions and multi-function buttons enable easy operation. The handy knob at the back panel can be used to adjust the flash output and change the channels/groups of the lamp. The Bowens accessories mount on the front to attach a variety of light modifiers and accessories.

Where is the umbrella installed?
Where the stand adapter and the bottom of the light meet, there is a slot that accepts an umbrella once it is inserted through the punched-out slot on the reflector.
How is the flash head powered?
The flash head used the AC mains power supply with an input power of 110 VAC. It provides a maximum power of 400 Ws.
Which all accessories are compatible with the flash?
The flash head uses the standard Bowens S-mount for attaching various light modifiers and accessories. Accessories from Godox or third-party that are compatible with the Bowens S-mount can be used with this flash.
Can the modelling light operate independently?
The included 150 W modelling lamp is a halogen pilot light that can operate independently of the flash output and the user can set the brightness manually. It can be coupled with flash energy and can automatically be turned off or on without interruption.
